Help us secure our forever farm
We found out this summer that our current farm landlord sold the land to a developer without telling us. We realized we needed to get out asap, but we had no idea where we could go our how we'd pull off a move. Our farm is our only source of income and we've already put everything we have into it.
But as luck would have it, we stumbled on something so unexpected and perfect we have to try and make it happen, and we can't do it without your help.
FOREVER FARM UPDATE
We reached our first fundraising milestone and were able to secure the new farm with a deposit. We'll need to make the next payment by the end of March and as of 1/24 we're only $2,500 from reaching that goal.
We are also raising money to get the new farm started. Because this was so unexpected the only way we're going to make this work is with your.
We're great at making do and making things work. We need compost (lots & lots), silage tarps, drip tape and seeds, just to name a few major things. And this is our leanest time of year as far as income, so we really need y'all's help!

Zephyr Family Forever Farm
II+ acres with power, water and 5 greenhouses, all within an hour from our existing markets and customers.
5 heated greenhouses
Each greenhouse has its own heaters and propane tanks. We would definitely be able to have tomatoes in the winter!
The whole place needs lots of love
Each greenhouse will need new end walls. We'll have to clear everything and bring in lots of compost to get started.

The whole property, inside the red circle, is classified as the best farmland available.
Open farmland and woods
The open farmland appears to be in good shape. And there's plenty more land to expand into with projects like native fruit trees.
It has so much potential!
There's plenty of space for setting up an area for native plants, and an area for curing veggies like winter squash.
